They Mayans are in good company when they say we are on the
cusp of a new age as their Great Cycle, of 5,125.36 years
ends. This represents one fifth of the great cycle of 26,000 well
known to the Babylonians, Egyptians, Norse, Celts, Manding, Chinese,
and the East Indians whose charts also agree we are entering an age
very different than what the world has known since the Birth of
Christ. This precession of the zodiac over the equinoxes now
give us the Age of Aquarius. |

Find a good introduction to the 20 Mayan day signs thirteen Mayan numbers - and mysterious 260 day Mayan ceremonial calendar, called the Tzolkin (pronounced chol-kin).
![]() Terence and David McKenna, based upon mutually shared experience with natural stimulants in the Amazon, the two researched the 5,000 year old history of the Chinese I Ching to prophesize the future. Their analysis of sub-atomic event durations led them to a Timewave theory where the brothers worked on advanced neurochemical theories to explain how the chemistry system worked, by which they had accessed knowledge stored in their nuclear DNA. Their research led them to a complex fractal wave, where each level is 64 times greater than the one below, consisting of 26 levels which describes all change in the universe, from sub-atomic event durations, up to a universe-length time span. When they analyzed the peaks and troughs of history, and lined up the Time wave over the wave of history, they found that the end of the wave, when all the sub-waves peak together, will be in 2012 The late ethnobotanist, Terence

The journey
began at Mission Dolores, the birthplace of the Bay Area in 2001 as it
attempted to celebrate its 250th birthday by placing donated statues of
the King of Spain founder of the 21 California Missions and the Spanish
Captain founder of what would become the City of San Francisco. There was
unexpected anger by the citizens that led to inaction. The Church's
response that this was history was met with the local politician calling
for the statues to be thrown into the sea and then retracting the
sentiment only for environmental reasons. There was a broad support for
the reaction, which meant refusing to accept a gestures of good will and
denying the remembrance of common history to the entire community. My February Carnaval 2002 went to the land of Columbus, the Dominican Republic accompanied by a fascinating book, "Why the Cocks Fight" by Michele Wucker whose historic accounts and insightful prose were tempered by the unseen myths and the belief in the curse of Columbus. This is just the first part of our story concerning 2012. Did you know? The 2nd big gold rush of the Americas after 1492 occurred in 1849 AD in San Francisco and was in large measure caused by Samuel Brannan, an enterprising Mormon Elder. The San Francisco Bay Area is currently advancing towards its goal of hosting the 2012 Olympics more CM Collins |
